Program Description
The Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MS PharmSci) Program is designed for students interested in careers in drug discovery, pharmaceutical drug delivery, or translational/clinical sciences. Candidates with these coveted skills will be positioned to establish careers in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, as well as, academic research institutions and regulatory agencies. In addition to enhancing students’ competitiveness for employment opportunities, the PharmSci program is designed to give students a competitive advantage toward admissions and success in doctoral programs in pharmacy, medicine, and the biomedical sciences.

- Official transcripts showing undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or a related discipline
- GPA of 3.0/4.0 cumulative
- Official GRE scores
- A personal statement
- Three (3) letters of recommendation
- Applicants must have demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written English and in fundamental scientific areas such as organic and physical chemistry, biochemistry, biology, mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
- International applicants will be required to submit information consistent with those items listed in the University Catalog; this includes official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) scores. All foreign transcripts (universities outside of the U.S.) must be evaluated by a NACES Evaluation Agency. SPANTRAN is recommended. An official course-by-course evaluation must be included.
