Application Fee: | Domestic applicants = $75; International applicants = $100; Former UGA graduate students returning within four terms of their last registration will pay the reduced rate of $25 for the application fee. |
Application Deadline Description: | The Clinical Trials Master's program has two (2) application cycles per year, Fall Semester and Spring Semester. Domestic Applications: Fall Semester - June 1; Spring Semester - November 1. International Applications: Fall Semester - April 15; Spring Semester - October 15. The application deadlines are two weeks prior to that of the University's Graduate School's deadlines. We will accept applications on an ongoing basis. We do not conduct new admissions for Summer. |

Program Description | The Master of Science in Pharmacy – Clinical Trials Management (MS-CTMA) program is designed to equip students with competencies in scientific, clinical, technical, and practical aspects of the complex and highly regulated pharmaceutical industry, focused on product development and bringing innovative medicines that are safe and effective to market. Key features of this degree include: • 33 credits of coursework that are entirely online, providing flexibility for students who work full-time or are enrolled in other educational programs (i.e., Graduate or Professional degrees) • Applicable to students and working professionals engaged in healthcare fields, including pharmacy, nursing, public health, veterinary medicine, biomedical engineering, and more • Gain competencies in regulations, clinical trial design and management, biostatistics, project management, drug safety, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory standards, i.e., GCP, GLP, GMP, and the role of ICH in drug development and global registration requirements for clinical trials. • Career opportunities include regulatory affairs, clinical research, operations, monitoring, regulatory affairs, and higher education. • Graduates will be prepared to excel in their careers in pharmaceutical companies, academic and research institutions, or government agencies.
